This project is a unique blend of two passions of the client, an Italian korfbal coach named Michael, who trained the people at DSO-Alkmaar, and his love for the iconic rock band, Metallica. The client wanted to incorporate both elements into one picture, and the artist was able to seamlessly integrate the two.

The artwork features a colorful and vibrant design, with a hand-drawn comic style that brings a sense of realism to the portrait of Michael. The word 'korfbal' is a Dutch word that translates to "basketball" in English, but it actually refers to a unique sport that originated in the Netherlands. The sport is played with a ball and a basket-like structure, and it requires a combination of speed, agility, and precision to succeed.
